IMU CET Eligibility Criteria

For DNS / B.Sc. Nautical Science

12th pass with Physics, Chemistry & Maths (PCM)
Minimum 60% aggregate in 12th
Minimum 50% marks in English (10th or 12th)
Age: 17 to 25 years
6/6 eyesight (unaided, no glasses)
No colour blindness
Medical fitness per DG Shipping norms

For B.Tech Marine Engineering

12th pass with Physics, Chemistry & Maths
Minimum 60% aggregate (some colleges: 50%)
English: Minimum 50% in 10th/12th
Age: 17 to 25 years
Valid IMU CET or JEE Main score

How to Apply for IMU CET 2025

Step-by-step application process

Step 1

Visit IMU Official Website

Go to www.imu.edu.in and navigate to the Admissions section. Click on "IMU CET Application Form".

Step 2

Register with Mobile & Email

Create your account using a valid mobile number and email ID. You will receive login credentials via SMS/email.

Step 3

Fill Application Form

Enter personal details, academic qualifications, preferred courses, exam cities (first and second preference), and other required information.

Step 4

Upload Documents

Upload scanned copies: passport-size photo (JPG, max 50KB), signature (JPG, max 30KB), and any required certificates.

Step 5

Pay Application Fee

Pay ₹1,000 (General/OBC) or ₹800 (SC/ST) via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Fee is non-refundable.

Step 6

Download Admit Card

Admit card is released 2–3 weeks before the exam. Download and print your admit card — it is mandatory for the exam.

Step 7

Appear for IMU CET

Appear at your allotted exam centre on the exam day with your admit card and a valid photo ID (Aadhaar/Passport).

Step 8

Check Results & Apply for Counselling

Results are declared on the IMU website. Qualify the exam and participate in online counselling to secure your seat.
